Tuckshop

Peter’s Pantry strives to be a healthy tuckshop. We respect and work within the directives of the Queensland Education Department’s Smart Choices - Healthy Food and Drink Supply Strategies.

The tuckshop is located in Charity and operates on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for lunch only.Tuckshop.jpg

Mrs Nadine Pennisi (Convenor) and volunteer workers staff this facility and provide a variety of food at reasonable prices, including a range of hot, homemade, home-style meals. These meals are nutritious, low in fat, freshly prepared and made at our tuckshop with love. Peter’s Pantry operates for the benefit of our children and for it to remain open and operating effectively, we need committed volunteers to assist.

We are always seeking mums, dads, grandparents and carers who are willing and able to donate even just an hour of their time. Parents who are unable to assist in this way can consider putting their name down on our Homebake Roster. Homebake is special homemade or purchased treats (e.g. cakes, slices, biscuits) or fresh fruit treats (e.g. watermelon slices, choc top bananas, frozen grapes) which are kindly donated by parents who are on this roster.

A tuckshop price list is forwarded to all families during the first week of Term 1. It can also be found on the Parent Portal. Tuckshop Duty is rewarding and a good way to meet other parents. You are guaranteed your children will love seeing you there!

St Peter Chanel has partnered with Qkr! to enable parents to purchase lunch or snack items online. Orders can be made from any mobile phone or iPad. It’s a simple and convenient 24/7 system. All orders must be in by 8.00am unless it’s a special Meal Deal day.
