St Peter Chanel is in the Commonwealth Bank’s School Banking program. Participating schools receive commission from School Banking deposits and new accounts, which help raise additional funds for school initiatives. Smartstart workshops are run for children in Years 2,4 and 6 to help children learn how to save and manage their money. School banking is conducted one day each week with children’s bankbooks collected in the class.
