Ready, Set, Prep

Give your child the best start to their education! This free program is available to all children starting Prep within the next two years, and there's no obligation to enrol at St Peter Chanel at the end. Let's work together to prepare your child for a lifetime of learning!

'Ready, Set, Prep' offers activities like storytelling, literacy and numeracy readiness, dance, art, nature trips and more. Students sharing learning work with educators at the school reception area, highlighting confidence, communication and supportive interactions within the school community Children can also borrow from our school library.

Ready, Set, Prep dates for 2026 are:

Thursday, April 30 - 9.00am - 10.30am

Friday, May 22 - 9.00am - 10.30am

Friday, August 7 - 9.00am - 10.30am

Thursday, August 27 - 9.00am - 10.30am

Under 8s Day celebrations will also be held on Friday, May 22, and children attending that Ready, Set, Prep session are welcome to stay on and enjoy those activities, which conclude at midday.
