Community Events

Join us on Saturday, August 5 from 12.00pm - 6.00pm for our Family, Food and Fun Festival. Thanks to COVID-19 it's been a few years since we've been able to have a fete so we have lots to celebrate! There'll be Market Stalls, the ever popular Cake and Sweet Stalls, a 2nd Hand Clothing Stall, Loud and Silent Auctions, local group displays, rides for the children, a coffee shop and food for all.

Mark the date in your calendar and come along for a fun and relaxing afternoon.

Regular Community Events

Each year, our Parents and Friends Association hold several social events, which bring parents and children together in a relaxed atmosphere, without the pressure of needing to fund raise. Many life-long friendships are forged at these functions and they regularly include the following:

  • Welcome BBQ and Disco held in the first few weeks of Term 1.
  • Café Chanel - a coffee and cake afternoon held once a term from 3.00pm - 4.00pm, on a Friday afternoon.
  • Carols by Candlelight - always a huge hit. Parents can bring along a picnic rug and dinner and join in the Christmas festivities on the school oval.
  • Mother's Day/Father's Day functions which are held off-site and are for parents only.
  • Thank You BBQ and Disco held in the last few weeks of Term 4.
Every second year, the Association also hold a Dinner Dance or Fete and these are a major fund raising focus for them. Over the years each of these events has been a huge success and in the case of the Fetes, have showcased our school to the wider community.

Mother's Day, Father's Day and Children's Christmas Stalls are held throughout the year. These offer the children an opportunity to purchase gifts for members of their family - even the pets! There are always lots of smiles and happy faces when the perfect gifts have been bought.
