Community Events

Each year, our Parents and Friends Association hold several social events, which bring parents and children together in a relaxed atmosphere, without the pressure of needing to fundraise. Many life-long friendships are forged at these functions and they regularly include the following:Mother's Day.jpg

  • Welcome BBQ and Disco held in the first few weeks of Term 1.
  • Café Chanel - a coffee and cake afternoon held once a term from 3.00pm - 3.30pm, on a Friday afternoon.
  • Carols by Candlelight - always a huge hit. Parents can bring along a picnic rug and dinner and join in the Christmas festivities on the school oval.
  • Mother's Day/Father's Day functions which are held off-site and are for parents only.
  • Thank You BBQ and Disco held in the last few weeks of Term 4.
In alternating years, the Association also hold a Dinner Dance or Fete and these are a major fundraising focus for them. Over the years each of these events has been a huge success and in the case of the Fetes, have showcased our school to the wider community.

Mother's Day, Father's Day Stalls, and a Children's Christmas Stall are held throughout the year. These offer the children an opportunity to purchase gifts for members of their family - even the pets! There are always lots of smiles and happy faces when the perfect gifts have been bought.
